Recently turned garage into 4th bedroom. Need external wall cladding or some kind of panels to weather protect the outside of the wall. Wall has a sliding door as well, so surface area is only 2.1m2. Want to keep the roller door up permanently so wall has to be waterproof. 3m wide by 2.4 high (sliding door is 2.1 high by 2.4 wide). Open to taking skirting off as chippie originally said plaster, prime and paint would be enough for weather proofing; however plasterer seems to think it's not as plaster is designed for internal only.

A section of exterior timber/cladding came off my house during strong winds and needs to be repaired/replaced. We also have a water leak coming through the ceiling inside the house. We’re not sure where the water is getting in from and would like someone to inspect it and identify the cause. The damaged area is quite high — approximately three storeys from ground level, as the granny flat is located above the garage. Hello, We require an URGENT call-out from an experienced shopfitter, carpenter, or cladding installer to inspect and secure a piece of our external signage in Logan Hyperdome. The Issue: A section of the cladding panel on our main shopfront sign (located behind the "Oscar Wylee" lettering) has come loose and fallen forward, resting against the 3D letters. This is a significant public safety hazard, as there is a risk the panel or the signage letters could fall. The Job: The task is to attend the site urgently, assess the signage, and securely re-fasten the loose cladding panel. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the high bulkhead signage (a suitable ladder/platform will be required). 2. Inspecting the loose panel and the frame to determine why it failed. 3. Securely re-installing the panel using appropriate and durable fixings (e.g., screws, adhesive, new clips) to ensure it cannot come loose again. 4.
