I have a pair of midcentury chairs, they’re not precious and have been well loved but I’d like to save them from landfill. One of them has sustained a little damage after someone leaned back too far on it and I think it might need to have the arm taken off and the dowel replaced and re-glued. I don’t expect it to be a cosmetically perfect job, but I would like to extend the life of the chair.

Repair two outdoor chairs. Each has one armrest that has disconnected from front leg structure. They are stainless steel frame with timber panels. The armrest steel needs to be straightened and spot welded back to upright/front-leg.

We have two handy man jobs that need to be done. Job one: Replace broken hinge on pantry door Job two: Tighten five dining room chairs, sand bottom of legs and replace floor protector pads on each leg.

Paint round metal outdoor table and matching four metal chairs with rust proof paint. Rust has already been treated, and table will be sanded ready for first coat. Will need to be painted all over in three coats - undercoat and two coats of green. Essential to have painting experience as paint is enamel based paint, supplied. Also supplied are drop sheet, brushes and mineral turps, or you can bring your own. Will need to dry between each coat outdoors so needs to be dry weather.
