Pool Safety Officer (Lifesaver) for 4 year olds Birthday Party – Woolooware Date & Time: Saturday, 6th December | 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM (3 hours) Location: Woolooware, NSW Role Overview: We're hosting our 4 year old sons birthday party at our home, we have a pool and kids will be there of young ages. We need a calm, energetic, certified pool safety officer to supervise and ensure a safe, fun environment. The ideal candidate will manage water activities and respond quickly and appropriately in emergencies. What You’ll Do: -Supervise children in and around the pool at all times; enforce pool rules. -Actively supervise water activities and games; ensure safe play. -Serve as poolside lifeguard on standby. -Administer basic first aid and CPR if needed . -Set up and tidy poolside equipment (floaties, towels, shade, life rings, towels, etc.). Assist with party activities and supervision of the birthday child and guests. -Communicate any safety concerns to us promptly. Requirements; -Current nationally recognized pool safety/lifesaver certification (e.g., AUSTSWIM, Royal Life Saving Society, or NSW/QLD equivalent lifeguard license). -Current CPR and First Aid certification -Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Proven experience supervising children at pools or kids’ events. -Reliable, punctual, and professional; strong communication skills. -Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies. -Small first aid kit and basic rescue equipment preferred. I need one female person to help out during a birthday party to take the load off me, including clear plates, set out food, general kitchen clean up, serving drinks etc. 6 hours from 12pm to 6pm. - Due date: Needs to be done on Saturday, 30 September 2023
