If it's your first time getting car audio installed, here's what you can look forward to:
Car Stereo Removal and Inspection
Before anything else, your specialist must first remove and inspect your car's current sound system. They will carefully unscrew and take out the old stereo, disconnect and unplug all wiring and connections, and note down all other details that are specific to your vehicle. This way, they will be able to fit your new stereo in the same way as your previous one.
Fitting and Installation
Once they remove the old stereo, they will now install a new one into your vehicle. This process involves wiring your vehicle's harnesses to the car audio, clipping the mounting kit and stereo together, and matching the antenna cable and ground connection. They will also check if it fits seamlessly with no loose wires and corners.
Stereo Testing
Any stereo installation needs thorough testing to ensure that the new sound system is working correctly. Once your stereo is powered up, your Tasker will turn on the radio, play music, and test the speakers of your vehicle. If there are no hitches, they will screw your new stereo and secure it in place, and then you're good to go!
