One cylinder has very low compression. Hi, I am reposting this, health issues impacted me responding to previous messages. Apologies for any inconvenience to those who replied. I now have a support worker assisting with responding. .. I'm unable to access old messages hence reposting the same ad here. .. Unfortunately I was sold a dud RAV4 with an engine issue. Wondering if there's anyone interested in doing the rebuild with the kit or if I can find an engine that's not too expensive to replace it. Looking for a qualified, licensed mobile mechanic to perform a diagnostic inspection on my 2006 Hilux 4.0L V6 4x4 .The engine recently overheated from a water pump leak and is now running rough with a ticking noise. My dad did a basic compression test and found one cylinder has low compression. The top end of the engine is currently half-disassembled (valve covers and intake plenum are off). I need a professional to come out to my garage to perform a Cylinder Leak-Down Test and use a Borescope Camera down the low cylinder. To determine if the low compression is just a blown head gasket, or if there is More damage to the cylinder walls or pistons Thanks Kyle
