Hi, I have a 2012 Toyota Camry with about 203,000 km. When accelerating, the gearbox sometimes hesitates and then shifts a bit harshly (mainly 1st–2nd and 2nd–3rd). I need an experienced transmission mechanic to do the following: Transmission drain & fill using Toyota WS fluid Remove pan, clean magnets Replace internal transmission filter & pan gasket Scan for any transmission fault codes (if possible) Engine oil & oil filter change at the same time I can supply the fluids and parts if required. Location: Newcastle / Cliftleigh area. Please only experienced transmission mechanics.

Driving car and white smoke started appearing from left side of engine.

The engine seems to have completely stopped and have taken this to a mechanic, who has analysed and advised an engine replacement. I want to find a good mechanic who is experienced with such work.

Last week I was driving, my check engine light came on. It wasn’t even 20 minutes later that I started to lose power, I ended up stopping the car with smoke pouring out of the bonnet. I NEED to know if my engine has blown. There was no loud bang but there were some light tapping noises. The aircon started playing up about a week before this had happend. And oil was re filled about 2 weeks prior.

Holden Astra 2007 has either one or many broken engine mounts and I can't find a decent mechanic in my area. Looking for someone experienced doing the replacement and is able to supply the parts, tools etc. Price is expected to be negotiated up, and I've just used the minimum I'd expect to pay. car also hasn't been serviced and is approaching the 200k mark so I'm happy to discuss extra services. Symptoms of the car is heavy motion while the car is in idle, and visible movement of the engine when changing from park, drive, reverse, neutral, etc.
