Barista / Event Host Needed – Mount Coolum (Sunday Morning) I’m looking for a friendly, confident barista/event host to assist at a private baby shower brunch at our home in Mount Coolum this Sunday. When: * Arrive: 10:00am * Event: 10:15am–12:30pm * Coffee service: Approximately 10:30am–11:30am What you’ll be doing: * Making coffees using our Breville Barista Pro espresso machine (grinder and steamer included) * Preparing cappuccinos, lattes, long blacks and hot chocolates * Limiting service to approximately 1–2 drinks per guest * Restocking the food station as required * Collecting used plates/cups and keeping the space tidy * Light hosting duties (greeting guests, being approachable and personable, helping the event run smoothly) Requirements: * Previous café/barista experience is essential * Comfortable using a manual espresso machine and milk steamer * Friendly, professional and proactive * Happy to help with general event hosting and tidying when not making coffees Location: Mount Coolum This is a relaxed, intimate home event and I’m looking for someone who can bring great energy, excellent coffee-making skills and help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Morning Tea for 100 ppl. Professional coffee machine on site and milks, cups and coffee will all be provided. Plus an urn for tea drinkers and a coffee pod machine for those who prefer that style of coffee. Event runs from 10 - 11am. 2 Baristas required from 9am - 11.30/12pm.
