Hi, One of my fire alarms is making intermittent beeping sounds. I’ve already removed the battery and found some dried residue (possibly from a battery leak) on the contact points inside the alarm. I’m looking for someone experienced to: • Clean the battery compartment safely • Check and test the unit • Replace the battery if needed (I can provide one) • Confirm the alarm is functioning properly Update: I’ve already replaced the battery myself, but the intermittent beeping is still happening. If the issue is caused by something else, would you be able to diagnose and fix it? This is a small job but I want to make sure it’s done correctly to avoid any safety issues.

We have a smoke alarm attached to the roof which is 5-6 metres high. The battery has gone in the smoke alarm and it keeps beeping. We just need someone with a high ladder to come over and change the battery. It should only take a few minutes to change the battery. It’s just getting a ladder that is high enough to reach the smoke alarm, and open it to find out which battery we need, and then to put a new battery in it. The longest part will be setting up the ladder. all in all, it shouldn’t take longe to do. Maybe 30 mins or 40 minutes maximum.
Flynn was very careful and thorough. He arrived on time, and was friendly, and took real care with his work to do the job properly. Lovely guy. Great worker. Highly recommend.

I have wired a Kings Bat Block and alternantor charging kit from the front to the back of a VW Transporter. However I would like someone with electrical knowlege to help connect it to the van battery. I am a bit scared in case I do something wrong. I have all the tools and parts needed. It should only take 30mins with someone who knows what they are doing.

I have a new adventure kings lithium battery in a battery box for camping It will have DCDC cables that can run through or underneath my car and connect to the fuse box / engine so it can charge the battery while driving Adventure kings have a detailed video on how to do this. Must go to the fuse that only works when the car is turned on to drive , not in accessory mode . May require you to have a fuse light tester to check which fuse works only when car is on. Probably needs to be a mechanic , electrician or someone who’s done battery camp set ups .
