Hi, I’m helping a friend with a 1994 Toyota Corolla AE92 automatic and I’m hoping to get some experienced auto-electrical advice or if needed assistance to make sure we’re approaching the repair the right way.Budget is for diagnosis and advice only. Happy to increase for the right expertise The car has wiring damage from an earlier cigarette lighter circuit repair that overheated and burned back into the loom. That work wasn’t done by the owner. While driving, smoke came from the dash, the car lost power, and it now won’t crank. There’s visible heat damage to several ground (earth) wires and nearby wiring behind the dash. The cigarette lighter itself doesn’t need to be reinstalled. I’m doing the hands-on work and I’m purchasing a complete compatible donor wiring section/loom now (from Pick-A-Part or similar). Before installing it, I’d really like to sanity-check the approach with someone who knows these older Toyotas well. I’m hoping someone can assist in some practical guidance or if needed possible work. This could be reviewing photos, confirming likely causes of the no-crank, and advising whether full replacement versus targeted repair makes the most sense and if so possible assistance to help Happy to pay for phone advice, photo review, or general diagnostic guidance. car trailer connection not fully working. some lights do but brake light isnt from connector

2005 Ford Transit restoration. I've completed about 90% of the wiring loom rewrap. At 64yo I'm having problems getting under the dash and into the engine bay. The Dash and instrument cluster have been removed to gain access to the loom at the back and under the dash. I need someone who can help finish the rewrap in electrical tape. ie. stronger back than mine. Will require getting under the van for things like horn, loom connectors etc. I estimate about 3hrs to complete. But willing to pay as required. Note: Anyone who is car minded and good with electrical tape should also apply.

Door Speaker Circuit Diagnosis I have completed full fault-finding on the passenger front door speaker circuit and require an auto electrician to complete final diagnosis and repair. Diagnostics already completed: Correct speaker circuits identified and pinned at cabin-side loom Driver’s side tested as control and confirmed working Passenger side circuits pinned and tested No continuity present between cabin-side loom and door-side speaker wiring Speakers, crossover, amplifier and head unit all confirmed operational Fault isolated to passenger front door loom / door-to-body transition Conclusion: Circuit has been correctly pinned but fails continuity, indicating an internal break, terminal fault, or loom issue requiring proper auto-electrical diagnosis and repair. Not seeking audio installation or rewiring — looking for OEM-correct repair.
