I need scenes cut from these files without any re-encoding or compression. Project Details: Files are approx. 147GB each, in QuickTime (.mov) format. One file is 229GB, and one is smaller at 23GB. Video: 168 Mbps, 4:2:2 interlaced, NTSC 29.97 fps. Audio: 48kHz PCM, 16-bit stereo. Source is 1980s/90s VHS, digitised in the best possible quality. You must be able to cut scenes cleanly, preserving: Original format, bitrate, timecode, and quality. No transcoding or re-encoding – just clean, lossless scene extraction. I’ve tried using LosslessCut, but it introduces glitches and rough cuts that cause problems later when making web-ready clips. These scene cuts will be used for archival purposes, so accuracy and fidelity are essential. Ideal For: Editors with experience in lossless workflows (e.g., FFmpeg with stream copy, Final Cut Pro, AVID). Comfortable handling large files, interlaced NTSC footage, and timecode-based edits. Delivery: I can provide raw files on external WD HDD for pickup/drop-off or remote work if you can handle secure transfer of large files.
