I need an experienced handyperson to assemble and install an IKEA PAX / GULLABERG wardrobe combination (white, 250 W x 60 D x 201 H cm, 5 doors, soft-close hinges, with drawers and shelving inside). The house is older and the timber floorboards are uneven, so I’m looking for someone with carpentry skills, not just flat-pack experience. The job includes: Full assembly of all frames, doors, drawers, shelves and fittings Levelling the frames on an uneven floor: packing or shimming as needed so the frames sit square and the doors hang and close evenly Joining the frames together and securely fixing them to the wall (anti-tip). Its is a stud wall, so please bring suitable fixings. Adjusting door hinges so the gaps are even and the soft-close works properly Removing packaging, or flattening it and leaving it neatly Please bring: your own tools, including a spirit level, drill/driver, packers/shims and wall fixings. Please tell me in your offer: Your experience with IKEA PAX and with installing on uneven floors Whether your price includes packers and fixings How long you expect the job to take Details:https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/pax-gullaberg-wardrobe-combination-white-white-s79598968/ Location: Floreat, WA The furniture will be on site and unopened Flexible on date. Weekdays or weekends in afternoon are fine.
