Hi there I’m looking for assistance with a tree-root issue in my backyard. I have a tree (not sure what specifically, might be green ash?) in my small backyard. The tree has grown too big (5m tall). Some of the surface roots have already lifted the ground, causing uneven soil and pavement. Some of the branches are reaching neighbors backyard, and the tree has also blocked too much sunlight to the backyard. My preference at this stage is to keep the tree. I might need your assistance to 1.shave the roots underground (optional: a root barrier) 2.trim the trees/branches as much as needed (reduce the impact to the neighbor and get some more light to the backyard) 3.re-level the ground (roughly 1m2, small) However, if you believe the tree is better to be removed and replaced with another, I am open to consider this option.
