SEWING HELP WANTED – ALTERATIONS TO PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT COVERS We're looking for someone with good sewing skills to modify protective covers used for transporting mobile medical equipment. The job: Alter 5 protective covers of different sizes. The covers are standard BBQ weather covers that need to be adapted to better protect equipment during transport. Ideally, we'd like zips added (where practical) so the covers can be removed quickly and easily when arriving at clinics. Some additional alterations may be needed to improve the fit and functionality. Location: The work can be completed from our home workshop. We have an industrial-capable sewing machine that is suitable for these heavy-duty covers, or you're welcome to bring and use your own machine if you prefer. We're looking for someone who: Has experience sewing heavier fabrics. Can suggest practical solutions for fitting zips and making the covers easy to use. Produces neat, durable work. If you're interested, please get in touch with your experience, availability, and your rates. Photos and measurements of the covers can be provided before you quote.
