I’m looking for one reliable gym buddy to train with twice a week in the early morning. Schedule and location * Two sessions per week * Ideally starting at 6:30am, but any time before 7:30am works * Around 30–45 minutes per session * Prefer Revo Fitness Richmond or Gym 24/7 Kew, although we can discuss another nearby gym I’m looking for more than someone who happens to train at the same time. Ideally, we would: * Agree on our individual goals and help keep each other accountable * Track and review each other’s progress regularly * Encourage each other to increase weights or reps safely * Spot each other during lifts, especially barbell and compound movements * Commit to showing up consistently over the longer term Our goals and current strength levels do not need to be identical. About me * Male, in my 30s, 178cm and around 74kg * Goal: increase strength and muscle, eventually reaching around 80 kg * Mainly interested in free weights, progressive overload and compound movements My current lifts, to give you an idea of my level: * Squat: 50 kg × 10 reps * Bench press: 25 kg × 15 reps * Deadlift: 50 kg × 10 reps I’m still relatively early in my strength journey, so you do not need to be an advanced lifter. Someone around a similar level or a little more experienced would be great. I’m open to training with anyone suitable, although someone roughly in their late 20s to 40s may be the best social fit. Basic familiarity with gym equipment and free weights would be helpful. Send me a message with your preferred gym, which two mornings usually work for you, your goals, and your approximate training experience or current lifts.
