I’m looking for a proactive, efficient, and experienced waiter to assist with a Haldi celebration at my home. This is a vibrant and cultural gathering with around 50–60 guests, and I need someone who can confidently support the event flow with grace and energy. Time: 2:30pm - approx. 7:00 p.m. (4hours) Key Responsibilities: -Serving finger food and drinks continuously from 3 p.m. to 6/7 p.m. -Welcoming and serving guests upon arrival, especially ensuring elderly guests from both the bride and groom’s families are catered to -Refilling dishes as they empty and keeping serving areas well-stocked -Clearing plates, glasses, and general clean-up during the event -Disposing of rubbish and maintaining tidiness throughout the space -Assisting with any additional event needs — someone who’s happy to be a helping hand What I’m Looking For: -Someone with previous waitstaff or event experience -Highly efficient, proactive, and guest-oriented -Able to work independently and jump in wherever help is needed -Familiarity with South East Asian cultural events is a big plus! Dress Code (Required): • White button-up shirt • Black dress pants or trousers • Black tie (standard or bowtie) • Black closed formal shoes • Optional: Black vest or black waist apron for a polished finish If you’re someone who can keep the energy high, the guests happy and the space running smoothly — please reach out to me ! I am looking for a waitress/waiter to help at a 70th birthday party in Camberwell on the 12th of July. It's a lowkey celebration with standing drinks, a large grazing platter, no sit down meals. We’re hosting an engagement party and need a server. Someone who is friendly and professional. The details: We will be providing food but we would like someone to cook our hot food and serve, we’d love there to be a steady stream of food. We will have a drinks station people can pour from but we’d love this person to replenish any bottles and also help with throwing empties out. A key part of the job will be to clean up as you go - there’s a chefs kitchen next door to the room the party will be in, which will make it easy to throw out trash and put plates etc in the dishwasher.
