We would like somebody who is looking to earn some cash and help out on the day of our wedding recovery! We are hosting friends and family at home and need somebody to be an extra set of hands. Tasks would include dishes, filling drinks/making basic cocktails, restocking plates/food, empty rubbish bins. We would prefer somebody between 19-26 years old and who is super friendly, confident and chatty whilst also autonomous and who can show initiative. The hours would be 10:45am - 3pm, this includes a 15 min break for you to have food etc. A FaceTime screening call required along with ID.

I’m looking for a friendly, reliable and proactive waiter/helping hand to assist with my partner’s 30th birthday celebration at a private apartment function room in Melbourne CBD. My apartment is on Level 10, the event space is on Level 9, so you will be going to and from levels using an elevator for the below tasks. Date: Saturday, 1 August 2026 Time: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (5 hours) Guests: Approximately 20–25 people The event will be held in the apartment’s residents’ function space, and I can provide secure parking within the building for your convenience. Responsibilities include: • Mixing and serving a small selection of cocktails and drinks on guest arrival. • Plating and serving catered food throughout the evening. • Heating pre-prepared starters in the oven and serving them to guests. • Setting up grazing platters and food displays. • Clearing used plates and glasses throughout the event. • Washing and reusing glassware and serving platters as required. • Keeping food and drink areas tidy and well stocked. • Assisting with pack down at the end of the night. • Cleaning the venue and disposing of rubbish in the apartment building’s waste disposal area. I’m looking for someone who: • Has previous hospitality, waitstaff or event experience. • Is confident mixing basic cocktails and serving drinks. • Is proactive, organised and able to work independently. • Takes pride in keeping the event running smoothly and the venue clean. • Holds an RSA (preferred but not essential). This is a relaxed private birthday celebration, and I’m looking for someone who can take care of the hospitality side of the evening so I can enjoy the event with family and friends. Please provide your quote for 5 hours of service, along with a brief summary of your relevant experience when applying.

Looking for 1 person to help waiter my 40th birthday at my home in Caroline springs. It will be an intimate family and friends event - semi formal standup/cocktail style. Event is from 12:30 till late but the shift is from 12.30pm until 4:30pm. Total 4 staff waiting and bartending. Food will be prepped for re-heating/serving cold and require plating and serving to guests. We’ll also need help restocking the grazing table, clearing up plates and drinks, ensuring guests are looked after and dishes are clean (most dishes will be plastic but some will need hand washing or to be placed in the dishwasher throughout). There is a maximum of 50ppl attending with total 4 staff assisting - including the 1 being sought in this advert. Experience in similar setting will be highly regarded, black attire required on the day. Would like people that are confident to work independently to ensure everything goes smoothly on the day and guests, which means guests are well fed, treated with kindness and the event space is tidy/clean. $30-$35 an hour depending on experience.
