I'm looking for TWO friendly front-of-house staff with customer-service experience to help run a casual indoor/outdoor event on a 5-acre property in Tyabb. The role runs 9:00–17:00 and involves setup, guest welcome, and casual food & drink service for ~60 people (30 adults, 30 kids). ## Details - Role: 2 x front-of-house / waiter-style positions - When: 9:00–17:00 (event day) - Location: Tyabb (5-acre property) - Pay: AUD 40 per hour per person before the Airtasker service fee - Food/drink: Pizza and soft drinks provided (you must manage breaks so there is always coverage) ## Key responsibilities - Help with setup: arrange tables, chairs, ice buckets and general prep - Greet guests at the front gate (between 9:00–11:00 when needed), check names on a list and direct parking - Serve casual food and drinks from ~10:30 until ~17:00 - Collect canapés, pizzas and gelato from the catering truck and deliver to guests - Take drink orders and retrieve drinks from fridge or ice buckets - Keep the site tidy: collect/empty rubbish, clean spills, and clean up any breakages (dustpan available if needed) - Maintain a visible/uniformed presence so you stand out from guests ## Skills/requirements - Previous customer service or waiting experience - Friendly, reliable and able to work outdoors - Basic ability to carry trays and walk across outdoor terrain - Bonus: able to make simple mixed drinks (not essential) - Bring a clear, identifiable uniform (so you stand out from guests) ## How to apply Please reply with: - Brief summary of relevant experience - Confirmation you can work the full shift (9:00–17:00) - Whether you can make simple mixed drinks - Any questions or special requirements

Looking for event staff I can trust to set up high tea events for me on a casual ongoing basis. Includes: Picking up our van that will be packed with the tableware and catering from Normanhurst (ideally you will be local) - Driving the van to the event location (on weekends mainly homes and sometimes hired venues). On weekdays it is mostly corporate businesses Unpacking van and carrying/trolleying (where possible) it to the event space Setting the tables (the client set the tables/chairs up in position prior to arrival) with tablecloths, plates, teacups, cutlery, napkins, cake stands, teapots, milk/sugar bowls and sometimes champagne flutes and tumblers Setting out the catering on cake stands prior to guest arrivals, filling teapots with boiling water, filling jam and cream bowls and milk and sugar bowls Warming the savoury items in the client's oven (occasionally using our air-fryer if there is no oven). Timing it so that the hot food is ready as the guests are seated Departing event once guests arrive and returning 3 hours later to pack everything back into the boxes and van and return it to me in Normanhurst (you do not have to wash everything but I do request that the teapots, jam and cream bowls and milk and sugar bowls are washed prior to repacking otherwise they make a big mess). - On occasion the client may pay to have you be present for the entire event as a "waiter". There isn't really much to do in this circumstance other than refilling teapots and topping up drinks. If this is the case you would be reimbursed for the additional time onsite. - Set up usually takes 2hrs and pack down 1hr for an average size event of 30 pax. You will need to be: RELIABLE Fit and able to carry boxes of tableware/catering Well presented Have excellent customer service skills Event/hospitality experience is a bonus 2-6 weeks notice for bookings. Can train 7/8 and 14/15 Feb Casual/ad hoc requirement. $35ph for set up/pack down and $20ph for the 3hr wait
