I am looking for an experienced landscaper or paving handyman to supply and install ten charcoal concrete pavers, approximately 600 × 400 × 60 mm, as stepping stones through my backyard lawn leading to an outdoor spa. The ground is relatively flat with easy access from the street through backyard gates 80cms. The finished walkway should look similar (but in charcoal) to the attached reference photograph. Scope of work: 1. Supply and delivery * Purchase 10 good-quality charcoal concrete pavers, approximately 600 × 400 × 60 mm, subject to my approval of the product before purchase. * Supply all necessary installation materials, eg. compactable road base, bedding sand and any other required materials. * Transport all materials and equipment to my property in Warriewood. 2. Ground preparation * Agree with me on the exact positioning and spacing of the ten stepping stones before starting. * Neatly cut and remove the existing turf beneath each paver. * Excavate approximately 150 mm, or as required to accommodate the paver and properly prepared base. * Compact the exposed subgrade. * Install compacted road base, with a suitable bedding layer, adjusted as necessary for site conditions and the finished height. 3. Paver installation * Lay all ten pavers securely on the prepared base. * Ensure each paver is level across its surface, stable underfoot and does not rock or move. * Set the finished surfaces flush with or slightly below the surrounding lawn for easy mowing. * Maintain consistent and attractive spacing between pavers, with the final layout agreed before installation. * Ensure the walkway is safe and comfortable for walking to and from the spa. 4. Finishing and clean-up * Maintain neat, straight lawn edges around each paver. * Minimise disturbance to the surrounding lawn. * Remove and dispose of excavated soil, turf, packaging and excess materials. * Leave the garden clean and tidy.
