Garden Maintenance Tasks 1. Shrubs / Bushes The shrub in the first photo (rose-type plant, not pittosporum) needs to be heavily trimmed and shaped into a neat square/rectangular hedge. There are about 5 similar plants that should be evenly trimmed and shaped to match. 2. Lawn Mowing All lawn areas need mowing and trimming around edges. Pay special attention to: Under the trampoline – cut grass and weeds; use a ripper or trimmer if necessary. Front lawn areas near the road and driveway. Side lawn areas along the brick wall. 3. Weed Control Several areas have large weeds (examples in photos). Cut weeds down first, then: Use weed burner or weed killer spray to prevent regrowth. No need to dig them out. 4. Apple Tree Pick all apples from the tree. Prune the tree after harvesting. 5. General Clean-up Remove fallen leaves and garden debris. Trim and tidy plants along edges and stone walls. Ensure the whole garden is clean, evenly cut, and neat when finished.
