This is a project related to Mental Health & Nature. You can see the idea on the website www.leanintotrees.org and on Instagram. It's about people connecting with trees for 2 minutes at a time towards calming their inner worlds - and also reconnecting with nature towards environmental awareness and care too. We need real people trying this and recording their experience. Ideally you are genuinely interested in these themes! We need at least 5 so we will post this 5 times. The role is, to find a tree that you perhaps find impressive. You either put your hands against the tree, lean your back against the tree or hug the tree for 2 minutes and 'try the process' - to see what it does for you. Ideally you set an alarm for 2 minutes, then record AFTER the 2 minutes (it would be good to include the sound of the alarm) and the describe your experience speaking directly to the camera or as if you were talking to someone off camera - but we want 'talking heads'. Describe what you felt. Was there tension, did you relax? How did your body feel, thoughts? How did the energy of the tree feel? We want REAL feedback. Ideally it will include any calming effects, reflections on nature, the world, or even what it was like if they initially felt awkward doing it in public! Be completely honest, whether the experience was positive, surprising, neutral or even sceptical. We're looking for genuine, unscripted experiences—not actors. Whether you loved it, felt emotional, were surprised, or even thought it felt a bit strange at first, we want your honest reaction. That's what will help inspire others to give it a try. These clips will go on our socials - we plan to get heaps! We imagine people doing them for free in the future and sending them to us direct or posting them too.

I am looking for an experienced building designer, architect or draftsperson (preferably with QLD/BCC experience) to amend an existing set of DWG and PDF plans. The plans are around 95% complete but require refinement before builder pricing and Brisbane City Council DA/BA submission. Scope includes: - Review the entire DWG/PDF set and ensure it is suitable for builder quoting and DA/BA submission, identifying any drafting inconsistencies or omissions. - Replace the proposed pitched rear roof with a usable rooftop entertaining area. - Extend the internal staircase to provide rooftop access. - Add a small cantilevered roof, kitchenette and seating area to the rooftop. - Prepare additional plans showing neighbouring window locations (I have these already sketched) to demonstrate privacy compliance. - Add additional notes/labels (e.g. opaque glazing, privacy screening, etc.). - Amend the existing survey/site plan to accurately reflect the current dwelling (existing balcony is incorrect). - Improve the front-page 3D renders so they are more realistic and accurately show the dwelling's position on the block, driveway and pathways. - Correct the demolition plans to accurately show what is and isn't being demolished. - Modify the kitchen layout by relocating the fridge into the walk-in pantry. - Check all legends, stair calculations/counts and overall drawing consistency. Deliverables: - Updated DWG files. - Updated PDF plans. - Additional DA drawings as required. - Revised high-quality 3D renders. Please only apply if you have experience preparing Australian residential plans and are familiar with Queensland/BCC requirements. I am looking for someone who will review the plans thoroughly and identify any issues, not simply make the requested amendments. There is likely to be ongoing work throughout this project.
