We’re looking for an experienced carpenter or builder-carpenter team to build a cyclorama-style wall inside our warehouse in Cheltenham. This will be used for photography and videography content — mainly product, pet, and lifestyle shoots — so the wall needs to be clean, seamless, and professionally finished, with a smooth painted surface that holds up well under lighting. 🔧 Scope: • Build a frame: 4m wide x 4m deep x 3.5m high, abutting existing warehouse walls • Sheet with 10mm plasterboard • Install yellow tongue or similar structural flooring • Create curved corners (approx. 450mm radius) at floor-to-wall and wall-to-wall junctions (only one side wall for now) • Smooth trowel, plaster, and sand to a paint-ready finish • Include initial painting using appropriate studio-grade white paint Ideal Candidate: • Has experience with curved walls, set builds, or studio/shop fitouts • Can show examples of similar past work • Available to start ASAP • Must be able to supply all materials and complete the job end-to-end A site inspection can be arranged. We’re open to reasonable quotes based on experience and quality of work.

Hi, I need two bedrooms and a laundry painted including skirting and doors. And maybe one coat to the ceiling. Measurements for both bedrooms are 3.8m X 3m and 3m X 3m and the laundry is 2.05m X 2.10m. We will provide the paint and extra drop sheets if needed. Anytime from the 19th of May onwards is fine. Potential for further work as I plan to have the rest of the house painted in sections. Cheers David

Hi there, I'm looking for a carpenter or builder who can custom-make floating corner shelves, similar to the style in the image attached. I've also included detailed plans with measurements and a suggested construction method — the design aims to keep costs down by avoiding large curved timber sheets. The wall is standard gyprock, and we’re happy to use pine or whatever timber is most affordable, as the shelves will be painted. We need six shelves in total. They’re only holding lightweight cardboard boxes, so they don’t need to support heavy loads. The shelves are for a showroom installation in Melbourne at the end of July. We’re based in WA and can arrange transport, but ideally, you’re based in Victoria. I also need some custom tables made for the space, so if you’re able to help with both, even better — I’d love to work with the same person across everything. Thanks! Claire
