Build a Drop Trap for Humane Cat Rescue Description: I’m looking for someone to build a sturdy and functional drop trap for humane cat rescue. A drop trap is a specialised type of trap used to catch stray or feral cats that won’t go near standard cage traps. What I need: A collapsible or easy-to-transport trap and transfer cage - alloy steel or robust material Approximate dimensions: 90cm x 90cm x 45cm hight (can vary slightly) Trap must be lightweight but sturdy Must have a manual trigger mechanism (e.g. pull cord) Mesh or wire sides for visibility and ventilation Should be designed with safety and humane trapping in mind Optional but ideal: If you’ve built animal traps or similar enclosures before Willing to deliver (or I can collect if you're local) One of the key features of one of the commercially available Tomahawk drop trap is a transfer cage that connects to the trap itself. Purpose: This is for rescuing stray and unsocialised cats that won’t go near regular traps, so a proper drop trap is essential for their safety and future care.
