I’m seeking a CPA or CA qualified Australian accountant to assist with my personal tax return and provide legitimate, ATO-compliant tax minimisation advice. My situation * PAYG salary/wages only * Company director and co-owner of an NDIS service provider * No dividends or director fees at this stage * Family trust exists but is currently dormant (no income, no distributions, no activity) Scope of work * Preparation and lodgement of my personal tax return * Confirmation of correct disclosure relating to my directorship and dormant trust * Advice on optimal director salary levels * Guidance on tax minimisation strategies (e.g. salary vs future dividends, when a trust may become useful) * General forward-planning advice (not aggressive tax planning) Requirements * CPA or CA qualification (please include membership number) * Experience advising company directors / business owners * Professional indemnity insurance * Australian tax experience only This is primarily a personal engagement, with the potential for an ongoing annual relationship if we’re a good fit. I am seeking a new accountant. I am dissatisfied with my current one. They are for 2 seperate but very simple returns for this financial year to end in a couple weeks. I am an Australian who is now a non-resident. 1. A personal tax return. The only income I have is from a rental property and some bank interest and I am happy to tally up the totals for you. 2. I have a company Aleks InPsychology which has been basically dormant for close to 10 years. ACN - (138282872). It was also part of a trust. I completed nil returns up to this year. A couple months ago, I did sell a company investment (a one-off sale - it was dormant and did not gain any interest the whole time) and so at the end of this financial year, I would hope to do the return and pay a more reasonable fee to my agent, along with paying to have my personal return done. Could you please offer me an estimate quote for the returns and if reasonable, I'd be happy to discuss it further.
