Looking for an experienced licensed builder/structural carpenter to widen an existing opening and install a Lotus Doors Glas-Stax Frameless Weather Defence moving glass wall system between our living and outdoor areas. The complete Glas-Stax system is already on site. Scope: Remove existing sliding doors. Demolish approx. 1m of adjoining brick wall to widen opening, with clean saw-cut to remaining brickwork. Remove/dispose of debris. Temporarily prop existing roof/patio structure during works. Supply/install structural steel posts/columns and required footings/anchors. Supply/install engineered steel lintel/beam above opening. Structure must be accurately level, rigid and suitable for the Glas-Stax overhead track. Install and align Lotus overhead track. Install, align and calibrate glass panels, seals and floor guides to Lotus specifications. Make good surrounding areas as required. Details: Lotus Glas-Stax – Frameless Weather Defence Panel height: approx. 2.8m Opening width: to be confirmed on site. Please quote for demolition, structural works, steel/materials and installation. Must have appropriate licensing and public liability insurance, with experience in structural alterations, large openings or architectural glazing preferred.

Looking for rough quotes to plan a job for 1–2 months from now. Need a solid privacy wall and lockable door built across my outdoor patio opening to block off the back shed area.The Position: Starts at the very first patio roof opening, attaching to the right brick wall and cutting halfway across the left sliding glass door.The Look: Completely solid wall using raw, budget-friendly H3 Treated Plywood and pine framing studs. Looking for a qualified and licensed carpenter (or builder) to replace the galvanized post anchors/stirrups on two different structural timber posts supporting our outdoor roof framework. Scope of Work: Structural Propping: Safely prop/support the roof load while the post bases are being worked on. Removal: Cut out and remove the old, corroded steel post stirrups at the concrete level. Installation: Supply and install two new heavy-duty, hot-dip galvanized post anchors (bolt-down or chemically anchored into the concrete slab). Fixing: Re-secure the existing timber posts to the new anchors. Tiling Patch (Optional): I have a broken tile at the base of one post. If you are able to neatly lay a replacement tile piece around the new base, please let me know (otherwise, I can manage this separately). Requirements: Must be fully licensed and insured for structural timber/carpentry work. Please bring all necessary structural props and tools. Photos of the current setup are attached. Looking for a clean, professional finish.

I have several jarrah weatherboards requiring re-attachment to house. I also have 2 x window frames requiring repair, and some additional support to be installed for the railing of an old patio. I estimate that this work would take ~3 hours, plus a trip to Bunnings for basic materials (screws, small amount of replacement timber). I’m happy to pay an hourly rate for the right person.

Scope of work required by experienced carpenter/handyman for: - remove/ supply and install damaged subfloor sections in bedroom (completed - no longer required) - Supply/Install missing piece or of Architrave (colonial) replaced/repaired for ensuite and dining room window bottom [completed - no longer required] - replace /repair damaged balustrade spindle (possibly insert rod to stabilise as wobbly from a fall) - repair hole on architrave left from light switch move - supply and install privacy screens to outdoor area (water feature/side patio previously lattice privacy screen removed) and full carport coverage with door - slats and colorbond (concept white slats pictured) - Supply/Install/Replace/repair shed door - door comes off track whenever windy - Shave entry door, ensuite sliding door, and storage door bottoms (scrapping floor) - supply and Install 2 x side gates - option to repair the existing timber double gates which have been removed and stored in shed - requires hardware and fixtures. The pictured smaller fallen timber paling gate might not be recoverable? - supply and Install flooring and wall lining for shed - create/supply/install “container”/casing for small exposed part of semi above ground pool (part showing above pavings) picture shared of concept idea but happy to be guided by your advice to achieve similar outcome Must be experienced with own tools, labour & materials / supplies included in scope of work, and communicate effectively with owner to achieve desired outcomes. Have other projects around home for more work. Rubbish /waste to be removed offsite. Worksite to be cleaned after completion. [update - completed as per note above ] Please note the subfloor installation is marked urgent as flooring scheduled and requires to be completed by Monday 18/05.
