Hi all, I am looking for a cleaner who is willing to our South Yarra recreational venue once per week for 2 hours. Our venue: - 2 bathrooms, 4 toilets total - Small kitchen (no ovens or stoves!) - Small staff room - Computer control room - Reception area with desk - A few small rooms, all relatively small without furniture other than 1 chair in some Please note: the rooms are all empty (or next-to empty). They would just need a vacuum and mop. Some have benches, we would want these wiped down too. Whilst our venue may appear bigger than a residential house, the work is very basic. As long as the bins are taken out, the place is mopped and vacuumed, and the toilets are cleaned, we are happy. Monday or Tuesday is preferable as we are closed these days and you can come in any time, but if you would prefer, you can come in on Wednesday or Thursday should you finish the clean before 12pm or start the job after 8pm. We are offering $100 per clean. Unfortunately, we can't pay cash and will have to pay you via an invoice so you'll need an ABN - we can assist you with an easy template that you can forward weekly for our office to pay.

I had a vehicle stolen 2 years ago being stored on a property at a mates place. It was taken from there and I have some questions Relating to this and the fact that it had turned up back at his place. The vehicle wasn’t registered at the time as it had a blown motor. Since then I had it replaced and it’s going again. 6 weeks ago I went past his place as I now live 3 hours away and it’s back. Long story short the vehicle has been reported stolen and I have taken this up with him back when it was gone he has told me flat out that he will make up what he needs to so he keeps the truck. That I owe storage fees etc which isn’t the case. He thinks he has won with this and feels secure with me now living so far away and he’s brought it back. I don’t want to tip my hand with him knowing that I know it’s back and chance him disappearing it again and maybe forever this time. It’s taken 2 years for it to come back and I really thought it was gone forever. Now if he does tell the police there’s money outstanding which isn’t the case as he will Owes me a fair bit it’s going to make it a grey area and they will just say it’s a civil matter. And if he knows I’m going for it will be gone. For good. I wish to find out where I legally stand with this, is there a way I can ensure it’s returned and I’m happy to take him to court and can prove my case but I know it won’t work in my favour. He has nothing of value except my truck and it will be gone and a lot of hard work and court for nothing. I just know it. Couldn’t put a security hold over the truck or some other way to ensure its return if the police are involved?
