Looking for a reliable mechanic to help me diagnose my car. I have been to a few and spent Abit on it already replacing things trying to get to the bottom of it. No one is really giving me a straight answer and one person who did just ripped me off after giving a guarantee. Anyone close to Brunswick I can take it to, also do not want to spend money diagnosing again. Someone who can look at it and let me know what to fix once and for all. Car stalls and is hard to drive anywhere but can't afford to keep paying for diagnostics. I've had 3 done. I have had a few mechanics not charge me to look at it or even replace small things like filter, even the sensor but they are booked. Car is a 09 peugeot and engine cuts while driving or just keeps running but can't accelerate like limp mode. Now after dpf regeneration the engine light and depolution code is also coming up, wasn't b4.

Looking for a licensed mechanic to overhaul the brakes on my 2007 Ford Territory SY (RWD, 4.0 L) at my covered driveway in Melbourne’s south‑east. I’ll supply all parts (Bendix DB1765 pads, RDA/DBA rotors, caliper seal kit, DOT 4 fluid). Work required: 1. Remove and replace pads on all four wheels. 2. Measure current rotors; if below spec or heavily scored, fit the new rotors I provide. 3. Strip calipers, clean pistons/bores, replace dust boots & seals if needed. 4. Bleed the system and refill with fresh DOT 4. 5. Final check: no leaks, firm pedal, short road test. Must‑haves: • Appropriate tools: torque wrench, piston press, brake bleeder, etc. • Proven experience with SUV brake jobs. Payment & timing: • Fixed labour price for the entire job (no hourly rate). Please send a reasonable fixed‑price offer or a clear price range, and explain what could make the cost go up or down.
