I’m looking for online advice to help me convert my front lawn into a Western Australian native garden. The area is around 12m x 12m and currently lawn. I would like to do the physical work myself. I’m after guidance on layout, plant selection and spacing using WA natives, plus advice on soil prep and sequencing. I’m keen on a low maintenance, drought tolerant and natural looking garden rather than anything formal. I’m also interested in adding a small wildlife friendly pond and would appreciate advice on whether that’s suitable and how to approach it.
