I’m looking for an interior designer, draftsman or architect to review an existing floor plan and proposed rear extension for my home, and provide a high-level layout improvement and concept plan. I will provide: • Current floor plan (photo attached) • Proposed extension concept at the rear • Some initial ideas and constraints What I need from you: • A high-level revised floor plan (not full construction drawings) • Review of the proposed layout with a focus on natural light flow (window placement, opportunities to improve light into key areas), spatial planning (ensuring good flow and practical use of space), furniture layout (sense check spacing, usability, and proportions) and entry hallway (currently quite long; looking for ideas to better utilise or reshape this space) Key goals: • Maximise natural light throughout the home • Improve flow between spaces • Make the layout feel more open and functional • Better use of the entry corridor Deliverables: • Marked-up floor plan OR simple redraw with your proposed changes • Brief written explanation of your design thinking and key recommendations
