My partner is a calligrapher (@zizicalligraphy), and we want to transform the space into a beautiful, functional, and Instagrammable workspace that supports her creative work and content creation. We’ll need you to visit us in person and provide: A complete design concept renders of the proposed design Final measurements for all custom cabinetry and fittings (to pass on to our builder) 📐 Room Overview: Ceiling Height: 2700mm Furniture to Keep: Wooden desk (2100mm x 710mm x 745mm) Piano (1380mm x 410mm x 800mm) 🪑 Design Requirements: Desk should face into the room, not the wall Include a bench near the window for lounging or reading Add a movable island workbench in the centre (must fit A2 paper in drawers) Install floor-to-ceiling shelving for books and decorative items Combine task and ambient lighting for work and video content Design elegant window treatments (e.g. sheer + blackout curtains) 🎥 Aesthetic Goals: We’d like a neutral, timeless colour palette and a layout that looks great on camera from multiple angles – perfect for Instagram, reels, and tutorials. If you have an eye for detail and experience with creative workspaces, we’d love to hear from you! Hi there, I’m currently preparing to open a new hair salon in Melbourne CBD and I’m looking for a designer who can help me create a professional floor plan layout for the space. The salon is approx. 134 square meters, and I’d love to work with someone who understands functionality and flow in a beauty service space.
