I had a faulty ignition barrel on my 2007 Audi a3 8p. Hence, I replaced the ignition barrel but now the car will turn on, run for 3 seconds then instantly turn off and come up with an error on the dash 'SAFE'. I want the cheapest repair possible as I'm looking at selling the car as it has many other issues. Thanks

Hi, I am stranded at work and need an experienced auto electrician, mechanic, or locksmith to permanently bypass/delete the factory immobiliser system on my 1997 Toyota Corolla Seca. The Problem: The single-button remote control circuit board is physically broken (the internal battery clip bracket snapped off the board), so it cannot transmit the unlock signal. The car is stuck in a hard security lockdown (immobiliser active) and will not crank/start. The security light on the dash is flashing continuously. What Needs to Be Done: I need you to locate the factory Toyota Vehicle Security System (TVSS) module (usually behind the lower dash/steering column harness or under the carpet) and cleanly snip and bridge the two thick starter-kill wires together to restore the continuous factory ignition loop. I want the system permanently deleted so the car can start reliably using just the normal mechanical metal key from now on. Location: Amazon Chullora Employee Car Park (Chullora Business Park, 62 Hume Hwy). Highly secure complex with easy access. I will be with you. When: I need this done either: 1. Tonight (Monday, 5th Oct) at exactly 10:30 PM, OR 2. Tomorrow morning (Tuesday, 6th Oct) between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Tell me prior. Please bring your own tools, wire cutters, and electrical bypass connectors/tape. Please reply with your availability for either tonight or tomorrow morning. From the images, the battery is completely removed from the green board. Thank you

I’m looking for an experienced auto electrician or mechanic familiar with Nissan Navara D40s to repair an intermittent electrical issue. The vehicle has already been inspected by an auto electrician. Fault: The dashboard intermittently turns on and off, with key in ignition, while idling and while driving. Headlights, indicators, hazards all continue to operate. Further testing found that the ignition switch wire/circuit is unstable and intermittently failing, which may be causing the dashboard to switch on and off. The auto electrician has recommended starting with replacement of the ignition switch and then retesting the vehicle. Power, accessory and earth circuits to the existing head unit have already been tested and were within specification. Job required: - Replace/repair the faulty ignition switch or ignition switch electrical component/circuit as required. - Check the associated ignition wiring and connections. - Retest the dashboard after repair to confirm the intermittent fault has been resolved. - Prefer someone experienced with Nissan Navara D40 electrical faults. I can provide the auto electrician’s diagnostic report. Budget is up to $600 depending on parts and work required.
