I’m looking for someone who can help with weekly meal preparation to make my weekdays a bit easier. I don’t have strict dietary requirements — I just want to keep eating good, nourishing food without the mental load of planning and cooking during a busy period. What I’m looking for: • Around 3–4 meals per week, divided into 10–12 portions for lunches and dinners • Meals cooked in your own space, with me collecting them (open to discussion if needed) • Someone who can either do the shopping or provide a shopping list for me to organise A few questions for anyone interested: • Do you usually prepare meals in your own kitchen or the client’s? • Are you comfortable handling the shopping? • If you’ve worked with similar weekly setups before, could you provide a rough estimate of the typical weekly cost? We’re a busy professional family looking for a capable person to help keep our home running smoothly. The role starts part-time (2 days/week) with the option to grow to 3 days/week for the right person. Days and times are flexible, with around 8–10 hours/week to start across two morning or early-day shifts. Start timing: • Brief paid trial in December (1–2 shifts if timing allows) • Official start mid-January 2026 About the role: You’ll support with kids’ prep (ages 9 and 6), household organisation, laundry, light cleaning, and simple meal planning/prep. We need someone proactive who can confidently manage the daily rhythm of a home. What you’ll do: • Reset kitchen and living areas • Kids’ prep (bags, uniforms, occasional lunches) • Laundry (wash, fold, put away) • Light cleaning (bathroom refreshes, surfaces, floors) • Weekly organising tasks (pantry, wardrobes, linen cupboard) • Simple meal planning and prep • Restocking and small errands What success looks like: • Smooth, low-stress mornings • A tidy, functional, organised home • Laundry consistently managed • Kids’ prep handled in advance • Household systems maintained without reminders Requirements: • Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain — cost covered) • Police Check (or willing to obtain — cost covered) • Strong references from relevant roles About you: • Background in nannying or similar is a plus • Organised, proactive, and reliable • Able to work independently and prioritise well • Experience in household support, childcare support, or hospitality Hours: • 2 days/week to start (approx. 4–5 hrs/shift) • Flexible days and start/finish times (mornings preferred) • Option to grow to 3 days/week If this sounds like a role you’d enjoy and you take pride in creating order and flow, we’d love to hear from you.
