Machine grinding and polishing of an existing concrete surface in 2 bathrooms to achieve the desired exposure and finish, including the application of a surface sealer to achieve a matt, satin, or gloss appearance as specified. Scope of work includes: Preparation • Inspect existing concrete surface to assess condition and coatings, adhesives, or contaminants. • Protect surrounding fixtures, walls, and fittings to prevent dust and surface damage during grinding. • Set up dust extraction equipment to ensure clean and safe working conditions. 2. Grinding Process • Remove existing coating from the concrete surface using mechanical grinding equipment. • Grind surface to “Warehouse Exposure” (medium aggregate exposure), ensuring a uniform finish across the 15m² area including the shower base. • Progressively grind using finer diamond grits to achieve the desired smoothness suitable for sealing. • Edge grinding to all perimeters and hard-to-reach areas to ensure consistency. 3. Surface Cleaning • Thoroughly clean and vacuum all surfaces to remove dust, residue, and loose material in preparation for sealing. • Allow surface to fully dry before application of sealer. 4. Sealing Application • Apply Acrylic Surface Sealer as the specified finish. • Ensure even coverage to achieve the desired matt, satin, or gloss finish (as selected by the client). • Allow appropriate curing time as per manufacturer’s specifications. • Conduct final inspection to ensure uniform appearance and adhesion. 5. Completion • Remove all protective coverings and clean work area. • Provide maintenance and care instructions for sealed concrete finish. • Handover completed surface for client inspection and approval. ⸻ Inclusions: • All labour, plant, and materials required to complete the works. • Dust control and surface protection. • Acrylic sealer and application materials. • Disposal of waste generated during grinding.

I am seeking a detailed quotation on behalf of my grandmother for the supply and installation of a bathroom cabinet with vanity basin and tapware, Scope of Works Install Vanity & Basin - Freestanding cabinet sized to fit within the available alcove (approx. 750cm wide x 48–69 cm deep x 750 cm high). - Concept preference: modern, white finish cabinet with drawers, fitted with a round above-counter basin -Mixer tapware in chrome or stainless finish. -Connect hot and cold supply lines (currently capped). -Connect waste outlet to existing floor waste. - Supply and fit new tapware (basin mixer or cross taps with spout, depending on design recommendation). - Floor preparation for freestanding cabinet installation, including leveling if required. - Wall preparation behind already removed vanity (damaged render and exposed brick/pipework is the current state will require patching to ensure a flush finish for cabinet installation). - Allow for any waterproofing touch-ups as required by regulations. - Removal of remaining adhesive/residue from previous tiles to ensure smooth mounting surface. -Install and seal tapware and waste fittings. - Ensure all visible gaps are siliconed/sealed neatly for waterproofing and aesthetics. Additional Notes - Existing power point is adjacent to vanity location (shown in photos). Please advise if relocation or compliance upgrades are necessary. - Please itemize labour, materials, plumbing connections, floor/wall prep, and disposal of old materials in the quotation. •If available, please also provide lead times for supply and installation.
