I’m looking for an experienced plasterer to complete a number of plastering repairs before painting. The job includes: * Hanging a section of plasterboard/drywall * Stopping/setting the plasterboard edges and joins, which are currently rough * Patching areas of damaged/ripped plasterboard * Patching various small holes from removed powerpoints, nails, fixings etc. * Repairing/replacing a small section of cornice * Sanding and finishing everything smooth and **ready for painting** There are several small patches rather than one large job, so I’m looking for someone experienced with plasterboard repairs who can get a neat, smooth finish. **Timing is important:** I need the plastering completed ASAP as painting is scheduled and carpet is being installed next week. Hi, I'm looking for a handyman to replace a damaged metal panel and reattach loose tiles at our restaurant. As shown in the attached photo, the existing metal panel has some rust, corrosion and damage, particularly around the edges. We would like to replace the entire panel with a new stainless steel sheet, preferably suitable for a commercial kitchen environment. Could you please let me know if you can help with the following? 1. Inspect and measure the existing panel. 2. Supply a new stainless steel sheet cut to the correct size. 3. Remove the old panel and install the new one securely. 4. Ensure all edges are properly finished and sealed. For the loosing tiles could you please come to inspect the material of the tiles first before choose a suitable adhesive. And also, we need someone to help us to inspect the remain tiles if there is any other tiles needs to Strengthen and consolidate. Need two existing external timber entry doors replaced at a rental property in Capalaba. I’m planning to use Hume Lincoln XL2 external doors or equivalent, approx. 2040 x 820 mm. Happy to supply the doors and hardware myself, or consider supply-and-install if you can source them competitively. Front door Approx. 2025 x 820 mm Existing door/frame shown in photos Remove existing door Fit and hang new Hume Lincoln XL2 Fit new entrance lock + separate deadbolt Prepare and paint new door Rear door Approx. 2040 x 810 mm Existing door shown in photos Remove existing door Fit and hang new Hume Lincoln XL2, trimmed to suit if required Fit new entrance lock + separate deadbolt Prepare and paint new door Existing pet door is not required Very limited clearance between the timber door and external screen/security door, so lock/deadbolt hardware must be selected and positioned so it does not foul the screen door Existing jambs are staying unless there is an obvious issue found onsite. Hinges can be reused if suitable or replaced if required. Paint both new doors with Dulux Monument to the exterior face and Dulux Lexicon Quarter to the interior face, semi-gloss, including appropriate primer/undercoat and two finish coats. Please advise whether paint is included in your offer or needs to be supplied separately. This is a rental, so I’m after a neat, durable, cost-effective job, not premium hardware or an overcomplicated finish. Decent-quality locks and deadbolts are required. I need someone to replace a basic flush door at my home. Approximate existing door size: 2340mm (H) × 814mm (W) × 33–35mm thick. I believe the original standard door size may be 2340 × 820 × 35mm and may have been trimmed slightly to fit the existing frame. Brick fireplace restoration – paint removal & lime mortar repointing We have an original brick fireplace in our Queenslander that we’d like to refresh and restore. Looking for someone experienced in brick restoration, repointing and paint removal. Work required: * Remove remaining paint from both sides of the fireplace (front has already been hand-scraped). * Clean the exposed brickwork. * Repoint the mortar with a light natural/white lime-based mortar. * Repair any damaged mortar or bricks if required. * Retain the original bricks and achieve a warm, rustic red brick with light/white mortar finish — clean and contemporary while retaining character. Experience with older/heritage brickwork preferred, particularly careful paint removal methods that won’t damage the original bricks. Photos attached.
