We just want to block access from inside and have them covered so the inside looks like a normal wall. Handyman needed for 3 small home repairs I’m looking for an experienced, reliable handyman to complete 3 jobs at my home: 1. Replace a broken piece of decking * Remove the damaged section and replace it with a matching/suitable piece. * Ideally colour/finish to blend with the existing decking. 2. Replace a window frame * The replacement frame has already been made and is ready to install. * Need the existing frame removed and the new frame fitted securely. 3. Looking for an experienced plasterer to square set approximately 75 linear metres of ceiling-to-wall junctions throughout a 2-bedroom property. The ceilings are plasterboard and the walls are rendered masonry/brick. There is generally around a 10 mm gap between the plasterboard ceiling and rendered wall, with some existing lightweight/crumbly filler around parts of the perimeter. Scope is to prepare the junction as required and complete a clean square-set finish, including any necessary minor gap repair/backing, beads/tape, setting coats and sanding. Final finish to be ready for painting. Approximate total: 75 linear metres. Please provide a quote including labour and materials and briefly describe how you would detail the plasterboard-to-rendered masonry junction to minimise cracking.
