Looking for an experienced screeder or tiler to install a screed on my first-floor balcony (approx. 18 m²). The screed will be applied over an existing waterproofing layer (Bostik Dampfix Gold system), so care must be taken not to damage the membrane. Job details: • Location: Minchinbury NSW (easy access through house) • Substrate: James Hardie Secura™ Exterior Flooring (waterproofed) • Screed thickness: Nominal 30 mm (20–40 mm range to achieve falls) • Falls requirement: Minimum 1:100 (1 %) toward the balcony drain in accordance with AS 4654.2 and NCC requirements. Where possible, maintain a uniform fall towards two drainage points; ensure no ponding or backfall. • Screed type: Either • Option A: Bostik Ultra Level Screed C310 (rapid-set polymer) • Option B: Conventional sand–cement screed (4 : 1 mix) • Materials: All supplied (bags, primer, etc.) • Contractor to supply: mixing gear, screed bars, straight-edges, trowels, spirit level/laser level, buckets, and PPE. • Finish: Dense, smooth surface ready for above-screed waterproofing and tiling. • Expected duration: 1 day.
