Hi there, I need a licensed plumber and gas fitter to manage the plumbing and gas works for a kitchen and laundry renovation. We are moving to a fully integrated laundry and a modernized kitchen. Timeline: The project runs between September 23rd and September 30th. This requires two separate visits. Scope of Work: Visit 1: Rough-in (Around Sept 23rd-25th) Safely cap off the existing water pipes and gas connections. We are doing an integrated laundry. You will need to remove the existing wall-mounted washing machine points and redirect the plumbing so the washing machine connects directly from within the new laundry sink cabinet. Visit 2: Fit-off (Around Sept 28th-30th, after cabinets are in) Laundry: Install the new laundry unit, sink, and mixer tap. Kitchen: Reconnect the kitchen sink and gas cooktop. Install the new kitchen mixer tap. Rangehood: Install the new u under mount rangehood in the kitchen. Requirements: Must be a licensed plumber and gas fitter. Must provide a Compliance Certificate for the gas work. Must be able to coordinate with our cabinet install timeline. Please let me know your availability to get started!

Gas Capping: Disconnect existing gas cooktop and cap off the gas line under the bench using a threaded brass cap on the valve, so it can be reconnected to a gas cooktop in the future if needed. 2. I have a 5-burner Smeg gas cooktop (middle burner is oval-shaped) with a continuous sparking problem. The issue started after cleaning about 2 years ago. Since then, when the power is turned on, all burners keep sparking continuously without stopping. To manage this, I’ve been turning off the power at the switch and using a lighter to ignite the burners. Gas is working fine and all burners function normally when lit manually. The issue seems to be related to the ignition system, likely a faulty ignition switch or spark module.
