Clear a narrow side yard (approx. [5m x 1.8m]) so a deck can be built over it. Photos attached. IVY Remove all ivy from the ground, the paling fence and the brick wall. Dig out the roots, since the area will be covered by a deck and regrowth would come back through it. Take vines off the fence and wall carefully, without damaging the palings or brickwork. PLANTS, MULCH AND EDGING Remove all plants, mulch and timber edging from the garden strips along the fence. Keep the crepe myrtle. Pull mulch back carefully around any drip irrigation lines or other buried items, and send me photos of what you find so I can brief the deck builder. GENERAL Remove and dispose of all green waste. Leave the gravel in place and the ground clear and roughly level. The gate must still swing freely and the downpipe stay accessible. PLEASE INCLUDE IN YOUR QUOTE Fixed price, time on site, and how you’ll handle stubborn roots or any irrigation you find. P.S: Budget is a guide only. I’m happy to consider quotes above or below it.

Looking for a reliable gardener with their own equipment to tidy up the garden beds and fence line along our driveway. What needs to be done: Weeding Garden Beds: Thoroughly hand-weed the mulched garden beds running along the brick house wall and the low front retaining wall. Note that there is black poly drip-irrigation piping running through the mulch, so please be careful not to nick or pull it up while weeding. Fence Line Clearing: Whipper snip and clear out all the grass tufts and weeds growing along the base of the dark timber fence bordering the driveway. Ivy and Vine Trim: Cut back and pull off the creeper/ivy growing over the top and down the palings of the dark timber fence. Light Prune: Give the small shrubs in the beds a quick tidy-up if any stray branches are overhanging the concrete. Driveway Blow and Sweep: Blow or sweep the concrete driveway and clear all fallen leaves, twigs, and clippings off the stormwater drain grates. Green Waste: Put all clippings into our council green bin on-site. Type of gardening: Weeding, Garden cleanup Size of garden: 50m²-150m² Has green waste bin: Yes
