Older son (13): • Homeschooled • Learning difficulties (processing and auditory challenges) • Needs help with literacy, comprehension, organisation, and confidence • Benefits from clear instructions, repetition, and a calm, encouraging approach Younger son (10): • Needs support with literacy and numeracy • Learns best one-on-one with someone patient and engaging We’re looking for someone who is: • Calm, kind, and understanding • Able to explain things simply • Happy to build confidence as well as skills • Consistent and reliable Ideally looking for ongoing tutoring, 1–2 sessions per week (open to suggestions), either in-person or online. Looking for a patient tutor for my son who has additional needs. My son is homeschooled and needs help with English and maths. He has trouble concentrating so I am looking for someone who is calm patient and experienced with children who need extra support. Sessions will be twice a week for one hour each. Preferably over Zoom. If you are local I am open to in person sessions but female tutors only for in person. Pay is between $30 and $40 per hour depending on experience. I am a single mum so this is my budget. Experience with special needs or learning difficulties would be highly valued.
