We are looking for an experienced paver who has experience laying BRICK BATTONS. (See first photo) The batten bricks - 200 x 50mm and only 16mm thick, so they require a suitable concrete substrate. We require: → 60-75mm reinforced concrete slab, laid and levelled or a man appropriate screws → Approximately 20m2 → Batten bricks laid directly on top of the slab → Batten bricks laid in straight, even rows as shown in photo * Experienced laying small-format/thin brick or batten pavers * Able to achieve very straight rows and consistent spacing * Able to complete or organise the 75mm reinforced concrete slab * Can provide photos of previous work with these bricks Pavers will be supplied by us. Hello, We are looking for an experienced carpenter, joiner, or shopfitter to inspect and reinforce the multi-tiered display shelving units at our retail store, in Claremont Quarter. The Issue: The curved, tiered glasses display shelving units along both sides of our sales floor are extremely loose and wobbly. The vertical support pillars between the tiers have become loose, and the shelving is pulling away from the walls/base. The Job: The task is to thoroughly reinforce and stabilise the display shelving. The scope of work includes: 1. Inspecting the tiered shelving units on both sides of the store. 2. Tightening, re-gluing, or re-securing the vertical support pillars between all shelf levels. 3. Securely anchoring the shelving tiers to the walls and cabinet bases (e.g., using discreet small L-brackets or heavy-duty fixings underneath). 4. Testing all tiers to confirm the entire unit is solid, rigid, level, and safe for customer use. Please note: The successful contractor MUST supply all necessary fixings, small brackets, and adhesives. These materials must be included in your final offer. Requirements: -- MUST have proven experience in commercial shopfitting, joinery, or cabinetry. -- You must supply all your own tools and suitable fixings/brackets. -- Ability to work cleanly and professionally within a live retail environment. -- Public liability insurance is required. Outdoor tile replacement + small wall repair We had plumbing work done to fix a leak, which required around 2–3 outdoor floor tiles to be removed. The plumbing is now finished. We have the matching replacement tiles (approx. 40 × 40 cm). Job involves: - Preparing/filling the exposed concrete area — some areas are up to approx. 2 cm deeper, as shown in the photos - Cutting and laying the replacement tiles, ensuring they're reasonably level with the existing floor - Grouting/finishing - Patching/rendering the small hole in the wall above the tiles - Supplying adhesive, grout, concrete/levelling materials etc. (we supply the tiles) - Painting the wall patch would be a bonus, but isn't essential It's an outdoor area around the side of the house, so it doesn't need to be perfect showroom quality, but we'd like it to be neat, functional and properly finished. This is a drafting-only engagement — I am sourcing and manufacturing the joinery overseas, not through a local cabinetmaker, so I need documentation precise enough to hand directly to an overseas manufacturer. • 2 built-in robes (BIRs) • 2 walk-in robes (WIRs) • 2 kitchens • 1 walk-in pantry • 3 bathroom areas (vanities/joinery) • Laundry Deliverables required: • 2D joinery drawings (plan, elevation, and section views) • 3D renders • Exact dimensions: length, width, depth, panel thickness, and installation tolerances • Material specifications: timber types, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, finish/colour schedules • Hardware integration: exact locations and models for hinges, handles, drawer runners, locks, integrated LED channels • Construction methods: detailed cross-sections showing joint types (dovetail, dowel, mitre), carcass assembly, and wall-fixing attachments Important: Measurements must be precise — this joinery is being manufactured overseas and shipped, so there’s no opportunity for on-site adjustment. Floor plan has been completed by a draftsman. Not sure how much this usually costs so will consider all offers
