Hello, we are looking for a DJ for our engagement party. It's from 6-11pm at the Botany View Hotel in Newtown. We aren't really fussed music wise, I'm into melo-death and she's into Emo. There are quite a few oldies and a few kids there so it might be better if it's more or less just safe music lol. We more or less just want background music as I can't imagine there will be much dancing lol. Additional info from the venue : Hello, Here is the equipment. DJ EQUIPMENT 2 X CDJ 2000 2 X TECHNIC QUARTZ 1200MKii byo needles & cartridges 1 X DJM 900 NEXUS HOUSE KEEPING - Please ensure you're not red lining and do not turn the master up. The venue staff can control the volume from our AMPS (if the level is to high out of the mixer it will hit our limiters and won't achieve increased volume level). - Please no food or drinks on the DJ deck table. DJ MUSIC BRIEF Please no dubstep, hardstyle, techno. BYO EQUIPMENT If you are bringing your own DJ decks please note that RCA outputs are quieter (around -10db quieter) than xlr outputs. We will not be able to achieve the same loudness with RCA outputs as XLR outputs. You will also need to bring your own adapters to connect to our PA.

Cruise lasts 4 hrs from 12-4pm. Need a DJ. Ages vary from 30s to 60. Most 45 to 55 y/0. It’s Anzac Day and my birthday. Suggest coastal/pool/house chill early on, moving into some 80s/90s hits to crank it up a bit. Then into newer songs and sped up older classics. But leave to DJ to “read the room” and adjust accordingly and not play a pre-determined playlist to meet the brief. 45 attendees. Happy to discuss further. Need a DJ for our engagement party. Party starts at 5pm in Maroubra but would like DJ to come a little later once the party has settled in: 7pm-11pm? We would play our own music until then. Music vibes: songs that get everyone on the dance floor - 90s/2000s pop, dance floor and RNB - 70s/80s classics I.e. ABBA, Queen - Current pop girlies: Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan If it would be awkward for you to set up once the party has already started, could look at just having you there for whole party 5pm-11pm pending budget. I anticipate that people will roll in a little later than the start time though, so happy to be guided by you on what you think is best.
