I’m looking for an artist to create a small, original hand-painted piece based on a photograph I will provide. Need it small, card size. Similar to the artwork attached. I’d like the finished work to have an oblique, expressive and painterly feel about it rather than being a highly polished or photorealistic portrait. I love the golden tones, and painterly feel of the reference image and would like to retain that atmosphere. I’m imagining the piece painted on small, thin artist board/card or a very thin wood panel. I’m open to acrylic, gouache, oil or pencils- whatever the artist feels will achieve the best result. Importantly, I’m looking for a genuine hand-painted original, not a digital artwork, filter, AI-generated image or printed photograph. I also don’t want it signed by the artist. Happy to discuss the exact dimensions and materials with the artist. I’d love to see examples of previous portrait or figurative work, particularly anything with an expressive, contemporary or slightly unconventional style. I will send the image to those suitable once we have confirmed details and I’ve seen previous work.

I have created initial artwork files for 3 custom 1:1 scale birth posters (one for each of my children). I need an experienced graphic designer to finalise the digital files so they are print-ready and perfectly matched as a cohesive set for canvas printing.
