Hello, We are in need of someone to complete our current DIY closet cabinet renovation in our en-suite. Currently, we have almost finished the back side ourselves with the LED lighting. We just have to install the bottom drawers. This was done very DIY style, as you can see in the photo. We need help with the right side, starting from scratch. We will order the MDF for the cabinets but need someone to essentially create the cabinets and put them together according to the attached design. My partner, who is a sparky, would like to do it together as he wants to also learn throughout the process. Here is a reference of the design, although we may have to adjust it to the actual closet dimensions. For example, the right side of the cabinet design goes all the way to the top of the wall. However, our actual closet has a cornice at the top, which does not allow us to go all the way up. We have the design idea but will need help with the dimensions of the cabinets for the right side as well. However, we can discuss the details later. As my partner is a sparky he will guide around the LED lighting set up and do the electrical work. I have also attached a photo of what our closet currently looks like. We do have tools in the garage for most of the work. However, a walkthrough of our closet and the tools is probably required (if you need more or specific tools), and if you have your own additional tools that you think would help, that would help. We are looking for someone experienced in cabinet making and has done several projects with a portfolio as we would like your guidance and expertise. The start date can be decided together. However, ideally, we would like to start in the next two weeks. Thank you!

I'm after an experienced carpenter to clad the back wall and ceiling of my timber patio in hardwood slats. I'll supply all the timber, screws and spacers. You bring the tools and the know-how. Back wall (5405 × 2100 mm) • 23 rows of 86 × 19 hardwood boards, run horizontally and fixed to 5 existing roof posts. • First board 20 mm off the deck, with about 4 mm gaps. • Random-length boards, joined on post centres with the joins staggered. Ceiling (5700 × 2800 mm) • 52 slats of 86 × 19, run front to back between 9 exposed rafters (6 per bay, about 13 mm gaps). • Fixed up to the underside of the 5 existing roof purlins, about 700 mm centres. • Joins land on purlins and are staggered. • Screw length is critical so nothing goes through the polycarbonate roof sheet above, and fixings need to miss the existing roof screws. Requirements • Pre-drill every hole, with 2 stainless screws per board at every post or purlin. • Neat, straight and level work. This is a feature space, so finish matters. • Your own drop saw, drivers, levels and ladders or trestles. • Clean up offcuts at the end. I have dimensioned drawings, a cut list and a set-out sheet that I'm happy to share.

Hi, I’m looking for a quote to replace an existing 60 cm built-in oven and repair or replace the surrounding heat-damaged kitchen cabinetry. The work may include: * Replacing the oven. * Replacing the heat-damaged panel above the oven. * Replacing the cabinet next to the oven * Replacing the adjacent drawers and any heat-damaged drawer fronts or drawer boxes. * Matching the existing cream cabinetry finish. * Checking the oven housing and ventilation requirements to prevent further heat damage. I’d like to retain the existing benchtop, cooktop and splashback and remaining kitchen cabinetry wherever possible. Could you please provide an itemised quote, including materials, installation and removal of the damaged components? I can provide photos and arrange an inspection.

The floor underneath my dishwasher is not level. I need some plywood cut to the size of my dishwasher base and either some of the timber below cut or prop up the plywood so it’s all level. I don’t have pictures. The job is relatively simple for someone with the tools. The rate is for 1 hr and I will supply the plywood. You supply some screws and equipment to cut and alls if any of the existing floor needs to be cut. If the job runs longer than 1 hr which is unlikely then the price will change accordingly.
