My 25yr old shelf within my bench in the garage has collapsed. Not surprising it was made from MBF? Frame, floor and benchtop is in good condition just need the inside shelf, doors and one side panel replaced. I would prefer if we could use wood that is a little more durable maybe a thicker ply perhaps

I am looking for an experienced timber restoration/finishing specialist to restore my timber front entrance. The job consists of: - One timber front door – both interior and exterior sides - One adjoining timber sidelight/side panel – both sides - Timber door frame and surrounding trim Both the door and sidelight contain decorative leadlight glass, so care must be taken when sanding and refinishing around the glass. The exterior timber has become weathered and the existing finish has deteriorated. I would like the entire entrance professionally restored so that the timber looks refreshed and well finished while retaining its natural timber appearance. Work required includes proper cleaning and preparation, sanding back the existing deteriorated finish as necessary, careful hand sanding around mouldings and leadlight glass, addressing minor marks/discolouration where possible, and applying a high-quality exterior-grade UV and weather-resistant clear timber finish. The interior side should also be sanded/prepared and refinished so the whole entrance has a consistent, professionally restored appearance. The Tasker must provide all labour, sanding equipment, tools, masking/protection materials, stain if required, varnish/clear finish and all other materials. Please include in your offer: 1. Your experience restoring timber entrance doors 2. The preparation and sanding process you propose 3. The brand/type of finish you recommend 4. How many coats you will apply 5. Whether your quote includes all materials and any return visits required between coats Photos showing the outside and inside of the same entrance door and sidelight are attached. Location: Baulkham Hills NSW 2153 I am looking for a proper restoration, rather than simply applying another coat over the existing finish.

Hi, I need an experienced cabinet maker or joiner with a professional workshop setup to fabricate 5 cabinet doors and 1 side panel. This job must be completed off-site at your workshop and delivered back finished. The Design Setup (High Attention to Detail Needed): • Face & Reverse: The front laminate sheet and the back laminate sheet are different colours. • Edges: Each of the four edges on the doors/panel will feature a different colour ABS edging (e.g., matching the face, reverse, or specific accent borders). Precise attention to detail is required to ensure the correct edging goes on the correct side. What needs to be done: 1. Supply Substrate: You must supply the 16mm Moisture Resistant (MR) MDF core sheets. 2. Pick Up Materials: Collect the raw materials from my location in Seaford Vic 3. Laminate Pressing: Glue and press the laminates flat onto both sides of the 16mm MR MDF core using proper workshop pressing equipment (no air bubbles or telegraphing). 4. Precision Cutting: Cut the sheets cleanly down to the final sizes without chipping the laminate. 5. Multi-Colour Edge Banding: Apply the specific ABS edging variations to each designated border and trim flush. 6. Delivery: Drop off the 6 completed, finished pieces to my address. Approximate dimensions of finished pieces: • 5 x Doors: Roughly 60cm x 80cm each • 1 x Side Panel: Roughly 60cm x 80cm What I will provide: • 2 x Large sheets of laminate (1.8m x 3.6m each — two different colours) • All required rolls of ABS edging (in the different colours needed) What you must have/supply: • Supply of the required 16mm MR MDF sheets. • Commercial workshop setup (cold/hot press, precision panel saw, and edge-bander/trimmer). • Transport to pick up the 1.8m x 3.6m sheets and deliver the finished doors safely. Please outline your experience with custom laminate work and your estimated turnaround time in your offer. Thank you!
