We’re looking for a reliable and experienced casual barista to join our small cafe on a very casual/as needed basis. This role would suit someone who is looking for extra work and has some flexibility during the week. The main purpose of this role is to be out go to person when a regular staff member calls in sick or we need an unexpected cover. You may be contacted on the morning of the shift; and if you are available, be able to come in and work that day. There also may be the occasional shift booked in advance.

I’m looking for an experienced barista who can come to my home in Adelaide and teach me coffee making and latte art hands-on. I have a Breville Barista Touch Espresso at home. I’m a beginner and would like to learn how to use my machine properly and improve my coffee-making skills. I’d particularly like to learn: * How to make a good espresso and adjust the grind * How to properly steam and texture milk * How to create smooth microfoam * I’d like to learn different latte art designs, including heart, tulip and rosetta. * Proper pouring techniques and how to control the milk * Tips for making café-style coffee at home I’m looking for one-on-one, hands-on training, rather than just watching someone demonstrate. I’d like to practise myself while being guided step by step. I’m looking for someone who is experienced, patient and good at teaching beginners. Please let me know your hourly rate and availability.
