Looking for a talented video editor/storyteller to create a cinematic wedding video (heartfelt + funny + documentary style) To be roughly 5 mins long I’m looking for an experienced video editor with strong storytelling ability to create a sentimental, funny and professionally edited video to screen at my wedding before our first dance. This is NOT a simple slideshow. I want a creative editor who can help craft a mini documentary-style film using childhood footage, family videos and newly filmed interview footage. Concept: Part 1 – Funny & Nostalgic I will provide childhood videos of myself and my fiancé. I want these edited so it feels like we are being “interviewed” as children answering present-day questions, with humour created through clever cuts and unexpected responses from old footage. Part 2 – Emotional & Raw It then transitions into documentary/camcorder style footage of us being interviewed separately before the wedding about marriage, the big day, what we love about each other, and what we’re excited for. The goal is for us to see each other’s answers for the first time during the reception. Looking for someone with: • Strong storytelling ability (most important) • Cinematic/documentary style editing • Creative humour through clever cutting • Emotional pacing & good music selection • Wedding film or documentary editing experience preferred I will provide: • Childhood home videos • Family footage • Newly filmed interview footage • Creative direction/examples Need final delivery well before 22 August 2026. happy to online transfer the files. I was hoping to use the app but because of how large the file is and the context of just having it given to my desktop via SD transfer I cant easily export it in the 360 format to my phone app. I also dont edit videos. Would love a helping hand - if you can edit this easily i'd love to have a second video clipped up from the same footage - theyre both just 60 second moments from a live band set.
