I’m looking for a developer to take over from the current point of an existing trading-card scanning and valuation web app and help get it to a stable live stage where real users can start using it. The app is already built and under active development. I am NOT looking for a rebuild. The goal is to continue from the existing codebase, finish the remaining core issues, harden the app for real users and help get the first paid/public beta live. The app must work on both mobile and desktop, with mobile/iPhone as the primary workflow. Core scanning needs to support: * single-card photos * up to 10 single-card photos in one batch * lot photos containing up to 10 cards * up to 10 lot photos in one batch * potentially up to 100 physical cards per submission For a 10-card image: 10 real cards → 10 persistent card instances → 10 complete, isolated and upright crops. Remaining areas include: * card detection/cropping * OCR and exact card identification * mobile photo upload * batch reliability * timeouts/retries/recovery * persistence * performance * pricing integration * final testing and regression fixes * preparing the app for a reliable live/paid beta The project already has a working UI, backend, database, automated tests, private Vercel deployments, test fixtures and development documentation. I want someone comfortable taking over an existing codebase, understanding what is already working and finishing it rather than replacing it unnecessarily. This is intended to become a real commercial product. There are multiple future development stages planned, so for the right developer there may be substantial ongoing paid development work after the initial release. Please include your relevant experience, examples of similar existing-app takeover/completion work, your approach, estimated time, hourly or fixed-price offer, and what you expect to get live within that offer.

I’m looking for quotes from developers to help diagnose, improve and complete Stage 1 of an existing web application that scans, identifies and values trading cards from photos. The app is already built and running in a private development environment. I am NOT looking for a rebuild. Required scanning capability: * 1 single-card photo * up to 10 individual single-card photos in one batch * 1 lot photo containing up to 10 physical cards * up to 10 lot photos in one batch * potentially up to 100 physical cards across 10 lot photos Every visible card needs to be treated separately and remain correctly mapped through processing. For example: 10 physical cards in one image = 10 separate persistent card instances = 10 complete, isolated and upright card crops. The app then needs to identify each card and obtain a value where supported. Cards that cannot be confidently identified must be sent for review rather than incorrectly identified or valued. Current areas needing work include: * multi-card detection reliability * clipped/incomplete crops * duplicate or fragment detections * neighbouring-card contamination * orientation * OCR/card-number reading * exact card identification * batch processing * processing speed * timeouts/retries/recovery * persistence/reload reliability Existing project includes a working UI, backend processing, database, automated tests, Vercel Preview deployments, test fixtures and documented acceptance criteria. Useful experience: JavaScript/Next.js, computer vision, image processing, OCR, AI vision APIs, backend jobs, Vercel and debugging existing applications. Please provide: * relevant experience * examples of similar work * your proposed approach * estimated time/hours * hourly rate or fixed-price quote * what you expect to complete within that quote More detailed technical documentation and test evidence can be provided to suitable applicants. Please quote before any work begins.

I run a small Melbourne business and need help testing call forwarding on a real phone service. What’s involved: about 45 minutes by phone, at a time that suits you. You turn call forwarding on and off yourself using your provider’s usual app or settings, and a few test calls are made to your number. I’ll send step-by-step details once the task is assigned. Please note: test calls are recorded. You’ll need: a home or business landline on the NBN (not a mobile) that you can change the forwarding settings on. Budget covers your time and any call charges.

Hi, I'm looking for a Perth developer to take a working prototype of our tug master training app through to a company-grade iOS and Android release, and I'd like a quote from your team. The app is for training and assessing tug masters, deck crew and engineers in the towage industry. The prototype already works: lessons, quizzes, force calculators, simulator exercises, competency checks, signatures, logs and PDF certificates. The job is mainly packaging for the stores, logins and roles, central records with offline sync, a company admin portal, our own back office, and Stripe billing. Attached: - Developer brief (8 pages) with the full scope, split into 14 items and three phases - The prototype app (index.html, content.json, README with the data model) Could you please send: - A fixed price per scope item and per phase, and your day rate for changes - Your recommended back end and its expected running costs - A timeline per phase - Two examples of similar work (offline apps, signed records, or regulated industries) - Who would do the work, and whether any of it would be offshore I'd appreciate your quote by 15/11/26. Happy to walk you through the prototype on a call first. Thanks, Liam Oversea Maritime
