I have a basketball backboard and ring. This needs to be connected to an existing beam. I've put a bracket on the back of the board (see pic1). I'll get longer bolts to replace the existing bolts which are holding the ring in place, so the bolts can also go thru the beam. Then I think you'll need to drill 4 holes into the beam (see pic 2 and 3). 2 holes from top and 2 into the face of the beam. Then the board can be bolted on. You'll need: - some decent ladder equipment. The beam is about 3.2m high and there's no wall to support. - A drill that can make 4 x 8mm holes in the beam. Should be an easy job. I just don't have the ladder or drill to do it. - Due date: Flexible
