The report is required to address: "A report by an Arborist of qualification AQF 5, shall be prepared detailing the position, species, height, trunk diameter, and canopy spread of existing trees on or adjacent to the site, and a detailed analysis of the condition and health of these trees within the vicinity of the proposed works including services. The trees are to be clearly numbered in the report. Information is to be provided detailing trees proposed to be removed and trees to be retained regarding the proposal, full reasons for recommending removal, including development impacts, tree condition, relevant structural testing or other relevant Arboricultural analysis supporting the conclusions. Unsubstantiated observations, analysis or opinion is not acceptable. The report shall include an assessment of the impact of the proposal on existing trees both on the site and adjacent to the site. The assessment shall be carried out in accordance with the standards and principals as set out in AS4970- 2025 Protection of Trees on Development Sites. Stormwater requirements are to be assessed to ensure required pits and lines is located where impacts are not detrimental to the existing trees. The report is to provide a tree location plan which is easily legible, at a suitable scale of not less than 1: 200, indicating the trees and tree numbers." There is one Magnolia tree that's in-scope/to be removed. It's approx. 5m high. I am after a report that reflects the minor scope and an associated fee.

A large Laurel Camphor (approx 20m) grows in my neighbour's yard. Its crown covers altogether four adjacent properties. A detached garage at the corner of my property is only about 1.2m from the trunk. I have recently discovered that large root systems have developed under the slab of the garage causing the slab to lift significantly, and causing the garage (timber structure) to lean. I would like someone to come assess the situation and make some recommendations on what can be done to recitfy the situation in a safe and cost effective way. Edit. I believe the whole body of work is a two step process. First, is this assessment and the second is the actionable, a separate (paid) task depending on assessment and recommendations.

The tree is visually uneven and was topped about four years ago, so we would like selective pruning/crown balancing where safe, removal of dead regrowth, and compliant clearance from the overhead lines. I live in Prahran, in a ground floor apartment, and there are a couple of large trees on my neighbour’s property that overhang into my yard and need to be trimmed back. Also need a couple of dead branches on my neighbour’s side cut I said I’ll sort as a gesture of good will for them.
