Find professional sewing in Canberra

After 3 yrs of sewing my teenage daughter has recently purchased an Overlocker (Brother 2504D) and is keen for lesson(s) on how to use it and get the most out of the machine. Practical in-person lessons are preferable to YouTube tutorials.

Need some badges sewn onto the left chest of a range of uniforms, from jackets to woollen cardigans. Badges are 8cm x 7.3cm square. Looking for an experienced seamstress or similar. We are located in Fyshwick, but we can drop off the garments so looking for somebody reasonably close to our office.

I have a 100% cashmere shawl wrap that I caught on something and it now has a hole that requires darning/invisible mending. I could try to do it myself but I really love my shawl and I’d like it done properly - guessing with a fine cashmere yarn and colour matching. I don’t have any spare thread that came with it when I purchased it. I’m happy to bring it to you (anywhere in Canberra) and pick it up once complete.

I have a set of Sun sleeves with a collar (see pic with blue tie dyed sleeves) that I would like replicated in another fabric. These ones are made from cotton and I am sourcing a 130gsm merino blend (see other pic) for the replicated version. If you can sew a sample by looking at another sample then you could help me.

I love knitting but absolutely hate weaving/sewing in the ends of the yarn at the end. I have a shawl I knitted last year and I still haven’t brought myself to be able to sew in the rest of the yarns ends on it. Turn my pain into your gain! If you are a knitter who doesn’t hate this task as much as I do, then I’d love to pay you to do this arduous task for me. I’m happy for you to pick up the shawl to complete the task or I can drop it to you anywhere around Canberra. It is a very large shawl (takes up my entire 3 seater sofa) but there are only a handful of ends to sew in from where I started new balls of yarn, and where I cast on and off the work - I would say no more than 10-12 yarns ends that need sewing/weaving in.
