I'd love to find someone who can do a simple hem up on my full length dress (shorten slightly) to wear to a wedding next week - it's a type of hem is not folded over at all, just finished with a tiny sort of 2mm overlocky thing at the edge of the fabric? Grey-navy blue heavy polyester fabric that drapes. It seems I lack the skills even to describe basic sewing terms, let alone sew the thing!
