My brother and I recently moved into an apartment and we have a bunch of painting we want to hang up throughout the place. We’re wary of banging random holes into the wall though. Hoping someone who might be able to locate the beams in the walls can hang them up so that we don’t mess the place up with a bunch of random holes.

Since this involves concrete drilling and rusted screws, you will need to bring professional power tools (like a hammer drill and screw extractors). Here is the full scope of work: 1. Hanging & Drilling (Solid Concrete Walls) • Hang 3 mid-sized artworks • Install 4 floating shelves (2 types) • Drill 3 additional holes so I can easily add artwork later. • Note: I have plastic wall anchors and screws in both 6mm and 8mm sizes (I think these will suit the job but open to advice). 2. Blind Track Removal (7 Windows) • Remove old vertical blind hanging tracks from 7 window frames of differing sizes. • Most are held by 2 standard screws, but a few screws are heavily rusted and may need to be drilled out. • No rubbish disposal required, just remove the tracks from the frames and take downstairs to my garage so they're ready for the next kerbside collection. 3. Small odd jobs • Water Filter: Help remove a stuck/tight kitchen tap aerator (I don't have the grip/tools to shift it) and screw on a Puure water filter. No plumbing required, just need the aerator loosened and the filter attached. • Spack Fill: Fill two small holes (under 3cm diameter) on a standard-height ceiling. Just filling and smoothing is required so it's flush—no painting needed. Important Details: • Tools required: Hammer drill, masonry bits, screw extractor set/pliers, step ladder, and drop sheets to catch drilling dust. • Location & Parking: Located in Chermside. There is free visitor parking available on-site, as well as limited free street parking. • Timing: I am hoping to get this done this week as I am on rec leave. Prefer morning either Wed, Thu, Fri, but Sunday also an option. I have set an initial budget based on roughly 3 hours of work, but I am open to fair counter-offers based on your experience and tools. I have a dryer that needs to be wall mounted. It replaces a previous dryer which was all mounted so the wall is set up to hold a bracket. I have purchased the right size new bracket and have that also. So installation requires new bracket and dryer only.

Need 6 canvas art pieces hung up. 3 are a set, and three individual ones. Not big or heavy, framed and ready to hang. Have wall hooks and hammer. Less than 20 minutes to hang everything.

I’m looking for an experienced and careful handyman to complete a number of wall-hanging and mounting jobs in my apartment. The job includes: * Hanging 23 pictures/artworks * Installing 8 shelves * Mounting 1 TV on the wall. Locations have already been marked on the walls. I already have the brackets/screws for the TV and shelves, as well as hanging hardware for some of the picture frames. The Tasker will need to supply any additional standard wall fixings, anchors or screws and bring all necessary tools, including a stud finder, level and appropriate drill/tools. I’d would prefer someone who can complete the entire job in one visit.

Hello! Looking for someone handy who wants a bit of cash! Located on Lacey road, Carseldine - need someone who can put up a mirror (about 50cm round - will need anchor screws) and hang up a long metal wall hanging above some stairs. Note stairs are split level (as pictured) so will need a ladder/ladder stair leveller. Wall is approx 340cm high from stairs - want the piece hung around 70cm from the top. Looking for someone to come at some stage this week. Just the 2 things to hang, each take 2 screws each only.
